Elevated Site Search keeps a running count of what visitors search for. That list powers the Popular Searches shown in the Modern theme, and it doubles as a plain answer to “what are people looking for on my site?” This page explains what is recorded, what is not, and how to read or reset the list.
Visitors see the top queries as Popular Searches in the Modern theme (see How to Show Popular and Recent Searches). For your own analysis, a connected AI agent reads the full list on demand, with counts.
To start fresh, use the Clear Popular Searches button under Elevated › Site Search › Settings › Advanced Options › Indexer. Clearing is permanent; the list rebuilds from new searches.

If your agent is connected (see Connect Your AI Agent), you can skip the steps above:
What are the most popular searches on my site right now? Give me the counts.
The agent reads the list and reports each query with its count; clearing the list through the agent requires an explicit confirmation.
The list stays empty. It fills from real searches in the search box. A new site, or one where visitors rarely search, accumulates slowly.
A query you tested never appears. Searches from a connected agent are never recorded; test in the browser like a visitor instead.
