To edit an existing Instagram feed, navigate to Elevated › Instagram Feed, select the My Feeds tab, locate your feed card, and click Edit. This launches the setup wizard preloaded with your current configuration. Any modifications you save dynamically update on your live pages without requiring you to replace or re-paste the feed shortcode.
To access your existing Instagram feeds, navigate to Elevated › Instagram Feed in your WordPress admin sidebar.
The overview page opens by default. Click the My Feeds tab located at the top of the interface.

The My Feeds page lists all Instagram feeds previously created and saved on your WordPress website.
Elevated Instagram Feed will automatically start the 7-step wizard interface, pre-populating all panels and dropdown menus with the settings currently active for that feed.

Once the wizard loads, you can jump directly to any step to make your desired changes. You do not have to click through every step in sequential order.
Use the progress bar at the top of your workspace page to navigate straight to the relevant setup pane:

As you make adjustments, the live preview window on the right-hand side updates in real-time. This allows you to verify your changes before pushing them to live site visitors.
To complete the editing process:
This will finalize your configurations and clear the feed cache to update it everywhere it is used on the website.

When you place a feed on your WordPress site, you paste a shortcode referencing a unique identifier ID, such as [elevated_instagram_feed id=”1″]. This shortcode acts as a dynamic database pointer.
When you edit an existing feed, you are overwriting changes to that exact ID. Consequently, you do not need to replace, edit, or copy the shortcode on your live pages or posts after editing. The visual and functional changes apply automatically across your live site the moment you save your changes in the wizard interface.
Visual changes are not reflected on the website
First, ensure you have navigated to the last step and clicked the Save changes button. If modifications are still missing from the front end, your web browser, WordPress site, or hosting environment is likely serving a cached version of the page. Navigate to the Settings tab at the top of the interface and click the Clear Cache button to purge the plugin’s local media file directory. You may also need to clear active third-party optimization plugins, hosting-level object caches, or CDN cache.
Clicking Edit on the Feeds tab opens a blank wizard screen
This can happen when a server database connection timeout or a conflicting browser extension interrupts the WordPress admin JavaScript loader. Refresh your web browser window to re-trigger the script initialization. If the wizard interface remains blank, open your browser developer console (F12 › Console) to check for active script errors, and try temporarily disabling security, privacy, or ad-blocking browser extensions.
The live preview panel does not update during editing
This behavior occurs if your secure Instagram session token has expired or if the connection to the external media API times out. Navigate back to Wizard Step 2 (Account), and verify your profile is connected. If your secure authorization session has closed, disconnect and re-authorize the Instagram account to restore the live image preview.
