Elevated Site Search ships two themes. Classic, the default, is a traditional dropdown with flat results under the search bar. Modern is a command palette: a centered modal with results grouped by type, filter pills, popular and recent searches, and Did You Mean suggestions. Switch between them under Elevated › Site Search › Settings › Theme & Style.
Navigate to Elevated › Site Search › Settings. The Theme & Style section opens first, with the two theme cards at the top and a live preview on the right.

Click a theme card and watch the preview change, then click Save Settings. The theme applies to every search box on the site.
Classic renders results in a dropdown attached to the search bar: a flat list with thumbnails, highlighted matches, post type badges, and keyboard hints.

Modern opens a centered command palette and turns on the search intelligence features:

Each of these has its own toggle inside Theme & Style when Modern is selected, so you can run Modern with only the parts you want. The details live in the Search Intelligence section.
The frontend still shows the old theme. Reload the page after saving; the box reads its settings when the page loads.
Popular searches or pills are missing. They are Modern theme features, and each has its own toggle inside Theme & Style.
