To manage multiple Instagram accounts in Elevated Instagram Feed, navigate to Elevated › Instagram Feed › My Feeds to add accounts, change the default, or disconnect. When creating or editing a feed, switch between accounts using the Use This Account button in the wizard’s Step 2.
Go to Elevated › Instagram Feed in your WordPress admin sidebar, switch to the My Feeds page, and then click the Accounts tab.

Click the Connect Account card.
A popup window opens and redirects to Instagram’s authorization page. Log in with the credentials of the new account you want to connect. If the popup is already signed into a different Instagram account, you can switch to a different account using the three dots in the top right corner.
Review the “View profile and access media” permission request, then click Allow.
After the popup closes, the new account appears in the Connected Accounts list as a new default account.

The new account you connected is added as the default account, but you can promote any account to default.
The default account is the one Elevated Instagram Feed preselects whenever you create a new feed. Only one account can be the default at a time.
In the Accounts tab, locate the card for the account you want to promote to default. Click the Set as Default button on that card.

The Default Account header moves to the selected account, and the previously default account becomes a regular card.

The default account is preselected when you create a new feed, but you can use any connected account for any individual feed. This is useful when one WordPress site hosts feeds for multiple Instagram brands or clients.
Start a new feed (or open an existing one for editing). In Step 2 of the setup wizard, locate the Instagram Accounts panel on the left.

Each connected account is listed as a card:
Click Use This Account on the desired account. The live preview on the right reloads with that account’s recent posts.

The selection is saved when you click Next to advance to Step 3 (Filters), or when you click Save changes to exit the wizard.
Disconnecting an account removes the OAuth token and stops Elevated Instagram Feed from pulling new posts from that Instagram account. Existing feeds that use the disconnected account will stop showing new content; cached posts may remain visible until the cache expires.
In the Accounts tab under My Feeds, click the trash icon on the account you want to remove.

A confirmation dialog appears. Click Confirm to disconnect, or Cancel to keep the account.

The account is removed from the Connected Accounts list. If the disconnected account was the default, the next account in the list is promoted to default automatically.
In Step 2 of the setup wizard, click the three-dot menu on the account you want to remove, then click Disconnect.

The account is removed immediately. Any feed that was using this account will lose its data source.
Elevated Instagram Feed does not cap the number of Instagram accounts you can connect to a single WordPress site, so agencies and multi-brand sites can connect as many accounts as needed. The new account you connect is automatically set as the default, and that account is preselected whenever you create a new feed.
Every connected account is identified by its Instagram handle (for example, @brand.a.official), and the handle is what appears in the Connected Accounts panel and in the wizard’s account list. Connected accounts appear in the order they were connected, and that order is fixed. The Default Account header on a card indicates which account is set as the default; it does not change the card’s position in the list.
If Elevated Instagram Feed is installed on more than one WordPress site, the same Instagram account can be connected to both, and connections are scoped to the WordPress site, not the Instagram account.
“Default” button does not promote the account
Refresh the page in your browser after clicking Default. If the Default Account header does not move, try disconnecting and reconnecting the account because reconnecting as the new account will reset it to default.
Disconnected account still appears in a feed
Cached posts may remain visible for a short time after disconnection. To clear the cache immediately, navigate to the Settings page and click the Clear Cache button. See Clearing Cache and Refreshing Feeds for the full walkthrough.
“Use This Account” button does not switch the preview
The wizard’s live preview is cached. After clicking Use This Account, wait 2–3 seconds for the preview to reload with the new account’s posts. If the preview does not change, click Use This Account again or refresh the wizard page.
