To customize how search results look, navigate to Elevated › Product Search › Settings › Results Area. From there, you can control how many products appear in the dropdown, what information each result displays, and the spacing, borders, and colors of the results container.
Navigate to Elevated › Product Search › Settings.
Look for the Results Area section on the left side of the page. Click the Results Area to expand it.
In General Results Options, use the Max Results slider to set how many products appear in the dropdown before the More Results button.
Enter text in the No Results Label field to customize the message shown when no products match the search. The default is No results found.
Scroll to the Display Options section.
Toggle each option to control what appears in each result row:
If you enable Show Description, scroll to the Description section under Product Preview and configure:
The Product Preview section controls the detailed product panel that appears alongside the results list. For step-by-step configuration of the preview panel, see How to Customize the Product Preview Panel.
In Results Area Styles, adjust the container appearance:
Look for the Border Controls section under the Results Area.
Toggle Show Border Controls to ON to enable border customization for the search input. Adjust Input Border Color, Input Border Weight, and Input Border Radius.
Look for the Image Borders section. Toggle Show Image Border to ON to add a border around product thumbnails.
Look for the Result Items Borders section. Toggle Show Result Items Border to ON to add a border around each product row in the results list.
Look for the More Results section.
Toggle the Show More Results Button to ON to display a link at the bottom of the dropdown when more results exist than the Max Results limit.
Customize the button appearance:
Click Save Settings at the top of the page when finished.
Look for the Typography & Colors section.
For each text element in the results dropdown, you can set:

Changes do not appear on the frontend
Clear your site cache and browser cache. The Preview panel on the right updates immediately, but the frontend may be cached.
The results dropdown looks too large or crowded
Reduce Max Results or disable Show Description and Show SKU in Display Options. Also check Products Padding and Padding in Results Area Styles.
Border settings have no effect
Confirm the corresponding Show toggle is enabled. For input borders, Show Border Styles must be ON. For image borders, Show Image Border must be ON.
